Job Description
Warehouse Manager
Responsibilities:
- Planning and organising all storage areas for products and materials to maximise space and accessibility.
- Ensure all stocked items are labelled correctly and stored in the correct location.
- Plan, organise and oversee the planned maintenance of warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly perpetual stock counts to ensure stock reconciliation with AX and reduce stock and financial losses.
- Ensure all company values, procedures and checklist are followed and updated when required.
- Ensure all operators training records are up to update and completed.
- Conduct quality check for good received and goods to be shipped out for the operators.
- Delegate daily/weekly tasks to operators to ensure equality and that all tasks are complete.
- Conduct a daily team huddle to communicate targets, risks, updates or relevant information.
- Ensure all team members are trained to the required standard and ensure standards are always met.
- Maintain cleanliness of all warehouse facilities including loading bays, racking, aisles, workstations and desks.
- Ensure all shipments have the correct documents to avoid delays.
- Ensure all company values, procedures and checklist are followed and updated when required.
- Promote an environment of safety and collaboration.
- Engage with other stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives.
- Assist in recognising challenges and bottle necks to generate resolutions.
- Engage in GEM initiatives to ensure a lean and organised workspace.
About You:
- Experience in managing and leading a team of people
- Experience of handling and storage of clean room manufactured products
- Experience in managing and leading perpetual stock counts
- Understanding of custom documentation requirements and freight forwarders
- Knowledge of BS EN ISO 9001 and cGMP standards
