Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Are responsible for leading the team of Project Managers and Projects Engineers by ensuring team members are equipped to meeting the project goals, adhere to their responsibilities and manage the project milestones.
  • Take full project cycle ownership; successful project delivery from point of sales to project role out in operations and the completion of all project elements
  • Overall management of all the projects to ensure the overall projects programmes are completed to the right standards and support the introduction of further future work to the company
  • Manage project scope and changes
  • Develop and manage all aspects of project engagement from planning, customer relationships, communications, resources, changes and risks and issues
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise the project management team
  • Liaise with customers about current and future projects
  • Ensure all projects are successfully completed to agreed targets (time / budget)

About You:

  • Have an Engineering degree or relevant degree level qualification
  • Must have experience in a similar fast paced / high pressure industry – automotive experience an advantage
  • At least 5 years’ experience of Project management experience
  • Experience with full project lifecycle and understanding of the methodologies that support that
  • Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of the business needs
  • Demonstrated decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decision and identifying priorities
  • Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
  • Experience in successfully leading projects and programs on time and to schedule
  • Flexible with a proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
  • Good communicational and written skills
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure
  • High patience levels
  • Confident and highly professional
