Mould Toolmaker
Responsibilities:
- Manufacture of injection mould tools, jigs and fixtures etc.
- Work totally within the authorised Standard Operating Procedures
- Contribute towards the effectiveness of their department’s QMS documentation
- Interpretation of R&D engineering drawings and 3D CAD models for mould tool making and other ad-hoc applications
- General manual machining capability (turning, milling, grinding etc)
About You:
Essential –
- Programming and machining using a CNC mill
- Programming, and the use of, wire and die sink CNC spark erosion machines
- Conversant with the use of manual machines (turning, milling, grinding etc)
- Ideally, apprenticeship or time-served experience
Desirable –
- Educated to HND/HNC level or equivalent in relevant Engineering discipline
