Christmas at Willcox Matthews

This Christmas season we have a few things going on within Willcox Matthews, our Office Manager is keeping us busy with lots of little tasks and has made sure that the office is looking adequately Christmas-y.

One of our proudest achievements this festive period is when we worked with ISO Quality Services Ltd on their Christmas Bingo Box. We were given two Bingo cards with items to collect for our local foodbank. Our team have taken this initiative fully in hand and almost achieved a Full House on both cards! This is where our competitive nature really comes in handy!

This initiative is the fourth year that ISO Quality have been able to do this, and their aim is to make Christmas just as special for people in need. All the items donated were taken either to their head office and or taken to a local foodbank in time for start of December! We dropped our donations off to the Food Bank in Droitwich.

The Willcox Matthews Christmas Tree is up and has taken pride of place in our main office! The decorating of this tree was attempted by three members of the team, and they smashed it out the park! We have baubles in true Willcox Matthews colours, proudly showing off the purple and teal, much to one Director’s delight!

We now have our office Christmas playlist on the go (much to some members of the team’s disgust!). There is a wide variety of tastes included in this playlist, ranging from Disney to The Darkness to Mariah Carey to Bing Cosby, we tried to include everyone’s taste in music, not too sure if it has been successfully achieved but it’s all Christmas-y.

To keep the team in the Christmas-y mood our Office Manager has implemented a few activities on the lead up to the Christmas break. We’ve decorated the tree, got the playlist on, maybe doing a Christmas Quiz and a picnic at some point and of course a Christmas jumper day!

We are also slowly starting to prepare ourselves for the Holiday break. We want to ensure that our client base knows we will still be available, as I’m sure most of the team won’t be able to switch off completely so they will be on their phones (much to the Office Manager’s dismay!). Part of the prep we will be doing is making sure that the team are aware and focusing on the goals that we want to achieve in the New Year, ensuring that we hit the ground running when we get back in the office in January!

All proving to be a busy and exciting Christmas season for us!
